Confidence. Character. Compassion. It is these three attributes Dr. Rakesh Suri names as foundational and crucial for a strong, dependant, and successful leader. I really appreciate these characteristics and believe I will continuously find myself leaning into those qualities and pushing myself to grow in every one of them. Nobody wants a feeble, weak, or unsure leader. similarly, no one wants to be led by someone without integrity or trust. Finally, a leader without sympathy is a leader without followers. Working with imperfect humans entails compassion and a healthy amount of it. Leaders who are too "heart-driven" can sometimes fall into decisions that are not practical or logical.
My favorite quote from this interview was "the only thing stopping your productivity and ability to accomplish si what is between your two ears."
