In his interview, Dr. Suri mentions that innovation is one of the core values of the Cleveland Clinic. I think this is extremely important, especially in the medical field. It’s so important to constantly be finding new ways to help people, new medical technologies, and new medications. This can be translated into other forms of leadership, too, however, based on lived experienced. A 20 year old will not lead the same as a 55 year old. That’s okay, because the 55 year old has so much more life experience, but the 20 year old must be willing to accept constructive criticism and alter their leadership style to better the group as a whole.
