Before anything, I'd like to recognize the effectiveness in the three element summary that Dr. Suri emphasized for his recruitment process: competence, character, and compassion. These really apply to any field. On top of that, I appreciated his optimism when approaching a new workforce, or "blank canvas" as he referred to it. There is little in the way of frustration or stubbornness when dealing with people when you feel like the possibilities to reshape them are endless and attainable. It's best to maintain a positive attitude when confronted with difficulties such as miscommunication - oftentimes, a smile will resolve the issue or at least take you further than a frown would.
