In the interview with Bruce Pearl, I learned that people should focus more on honing in their strengths rather than trying to overcome weaknesses. While I agree that we should definitely focus on our personal strengths and skills, I think that ignoring weaknesses entirely can become a liability in the longterm. In order for personal growth, I think that people should try to overcome weaknesses and not be afraid of failure. Similar to Brad Smith's idea of falling forward, I think that we should use our weaknesses to fall forward and make room for self-improvement.

I like your perspective on ignoring weakness turns into a liability in the long run. "Falling forward" is a phrase I hope to never forget as I always find myself running from my failures as a perfectionist. However, as much as I do not want to admit, all my my failures have guided me eventually to a path of success. We cannot learn if we are always perfect.
