The Ben Breier interview really resonated with me as I wish to be in the medical field beyond college. My main takeaway from this interview was how one of his main focuses in leadership is kindness. Hospitals and frankly any medical environment are constantly filled with stressors for both the patients and the staff and maintaining kindness is one quality that allows hospitals, and frankly any stressful institution, to keep a good mental wellbeing amongst their customers and their staff. It makes workers more likely to be productive and outgoing with their tasks and helps attract customers due to your welcoming environment that you have created.
